InfoGin offers Content and Service Providers its' complementary Visual Design Tool™ (VDT™) for specific adaptation of a website, when required. This intuitive, interactive tool allows the user to easily select content from any existing website and adjust it to the required representation.
The VDT™ automatically handles adaptation of all functional web page elements to any device, without requiring any alteration of the original Web page. This means that the user is completely oblivious to functional variations of different devices, changes in display size, and markup language and protocol differences. As a result, new content can be easily and quickly added to a portal.
InfoGin's VDT™ is based on the company's unique HTML-to-Mobile and Intelligent Transcoder algorithms. As opposed to similar solutions, InfoGin's VDT™ requires no intervention in the original Web page source. Smart Matching algorithms are capable of finding selected elements in the page, even in cases in which the page structure has been changed (which happens occasionally). The VDT™, based on these algorithms, makes sure that there are no cases in which wrong data is selected, definitions lost, or that any other mismatches might occur as a result of the original web-page structure being changed.
